About P Bar Farms

P Bar Farms was founded in 1907. It was a conventional farm until 2001, when Loren Liebscher read an article in Progressive Farmer about corn mazes. The following year, P Bar Farms ventured into agritourism and opened their first corn maze. P Bar Farms has been growing each year and enjoys educating and sharing their family farm with others.

How To Find Us

P Bar Farms is not a hard place to find. We are just an hour west of Oklahoma City. If you're driving west on I-40 take the Hydro Exit 88. Then Drive 5 miles west on Old Route 66 until you come to the big red barns. If you're coming from the west take the Weatherford Exit 84. Head over the bridge and hang a right by Cummins Auto Group and head East on Old Route 66 about 4 miles until you get to the big red barns! 2011 Corn Maze

Know Your Farmer, Know Your Food.

Whole Foods Markets invites you to get lost in one of Oklahoma’s oldest Corn Mazes this fall. With more than 3.5 miles of twists, turns and 95 decision points you’re bound to have a great time. Not only will you have a great time you’ll be experiencing a farming tradition. Most Maze-goers will need an hour to complete our two-part maze. Be prepared for a full day of fun and farmyard exploration with a visit to our Pumpkin Patch, a game of laser tag and a stroll through the petting farm.

Where you sit in the class room makes a difference.

For eleven years P Bar Farms has been offering an all-together different field trip experience. In this day and age farm life can be very foreign to most school kids. We seek to educate children on how the food gets to their plates. No, carrots aren’t grown as baby carrots and bacon doesn’t just come from the shelf. Not only do we offer students an eye-opening look into farm life, but also we offer hours of fun. Teachers and parents can rest easy at the maze knowing the full staff is on hand to handle all the students that come on to our grounds. Education, fun, and safety is our focus!

Field Trip Information

  • Field Trips will start September 19 and end October 28.
  • We book Field Trips between 9am and 2pm
  • Field Trips last around 2 or 3 hours.

Admission:

  • Students & Siblings: $6.50
  • Parents & Teachers: Free (this does not include a pumpkin)
  • Hot Dog Meal: $3.50 (This is an optional meal. It includes a hotdog, chips & a bottle of water.)
  • Concessions are also available.

Field Trip Outline

  • Program: A 10 - 15 minute farming themed lesson that’s fun and not boring.
  • Maze: All students will be allowed to explore our two-part maze. Younger students will have a guide.
  • Lunch: Sack lunches or our hot dog meals are what’s on the menu ‘round these parts!
  • Petting-Zoo: Students are allowed some “hands on” learning time with their favorite farm-yard animals
  • Hay-Ride: Taking a hay-less hay ride to the pumpkin patch is always a highlight of a child’s day.

Fuel Rebate

In an effort to assist school districts in continuing to offer out-of-class educational experiences to students, the Bank of Western Oklahoma and P Bar Farms have teamed up to offer the Fuel Rebate Program to public and private schools that schedule field trips. Fifty cents per student will be returned to schools that complete the Fuel Rebate Form and mail it back to us. However, in order to be qualify, you must pay with a school check. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Birthday Parties

Looking for a great experience for the birthday boy or girl? P Bar hosts several Birthday Parties during our maze season and would love to help you out with your next party. Our barn provides the perfect setting for the food and gifts and the farm provides a several activities that keep the kids entertained, there is never a dull moment. This is a hassle-free party for parents and always proves to be a hit with the kids. Plus no cleaning your house before the party and no putting the house back together after the party!

Facilities

Need a meeting place? P Bar Farms would love to host your next gathering. Our customers enjoy the fun and casual atmosphere of our barn. The barn is lined with rusty tin and wood which provides a rustic background to display our collection of farm related signs and memorabilia. We have two meeting areas available, our big barn and our conference room located in Stone Stack Mill.

Rental Rates:

  • Barn Rental: $250 per day
  • Conference Room Rental: $100 per day
  • Birthday Party packages start at $125

Barn

  • 3,600 sq./ft open barn with tables & benches.
  • Variety of floor arrangements.
  • Accommodates groups of 200.
  • Ample electrical access & sound equipment as well as a stage.
  • Full indoor restrooms & kitchens.

Our barn has been used for conferences, company parties, family reunions, weddings, receptions and birthday parties. The barn is not available November - March.

Conference Room

Our conference room is ideal for small groups of 10 or less. The room has a large conference table surrounded by comfortable office chairs on castors. The room is climate controlled and usable year round. Wireless internet is available and catering can be arranged. Our conference room has been used for company meetings, board meetings and in-service trainings.
